1 Strategy
Envision Design Group work closely with the client from the earliest stages of a project, helping the client to make high level strategic decisions. We undertake site appraisals alongside developing strategic proposals of planning considerations.
2 Preparation & Brief
This stage is the deemed start to the planning of a project. Envision can help the client develop the specific project brief, where there is not already one produced. We work closely with our clients to understand their needs, ideas, goals and produce a strategy to achieve this whilst undertaking design feasibility studies.
3 Concept Design
Envision Design Group will prepare numerous preliminary design sketches and concepts based upon the previous design stage. At this stage we will advise you which other design consultants are required to be involved in the project, as well as other statutory requirements and submissions.
4 Detailed Design
The detailed design stage involves; defining the internal spaces alongside developing an elevational treatment; coordination of our architectural model with other design consultants’ information. This stage of the design process typically involves a planning submission.
We will produce designers health and safety risk assessments throughout the design process for the principals designers information.
5 Planning
Planning can be a complex process, as it is an intricate maze of policies, standards and regulations that require both specialised and current knowledge and skills in order to navigate it successfully.
During this stage Envision will prepare and submit all of the drawing and documentation required for obtaining planning permission and liaise with the local councils Case Officers on behalf of our clients.
6 CGI’s
Envision bring concepts to life, producing images you want to be in.
By developing photorealistic CGI renderings our clients can have an interactive experience of the development before a single brick is laid. We have the ability to produce CGI’s of both the external facade of the building in context with its surroundings as well as internal rooms.
7 Technical Design
Our in-house architectural technology department help accelerate and rationalise the build process with technical precision. We develop a thorough and fully considered construction package of information giving you, and the appointed building contractor, the ability to easily deliver the project.
Envision will liaise with building control officers to ensure the design is constructed in line with the most current policies and standards.
8 Construction
Once construction work commences on site, Envision undertake regular site visits in order to inspect the works. The contractor will be provided with further instructions, information and drawings as and when required, in a timely manner.
9 Project Management
Envision Design Group’s project lead designer will ensure that you’ll be informed at every stage, showing transparency and a deep understanding of your projects progression.
10 3D BIM Model
Envision can build a comprehensive 3D model of the existing and proposed design and will be referred to throughout every stage of the project, from inception through to final completion. Using such advanced technology, the full suite of project information such as drawing, schedules and specifications can be derived from this single coordinated 3D model.
