Stephenson Engineering, Newcastle Uni

Envision Design Group serves as the lead Interior Designers for RIBA Stage 5 of the part-refurbishment, part-new build project at the Stephenson Building in Newcastle, home to the new School of Engineering at Newcastle University.

With the Stephenson Building now under construction, Envision collaborates closely with contractors, facilitates communication with key stakeholders, and designs and sources Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment to BIM Level 2 standards.

Having been appointed Lead Interior Designers from RIBA Stage 5, Envision Design Group is proud to contribute to the development of Newcastle University’s Stephenson Building.

This ambitious project involves the integration of the existing Stephenson Building’s front facade with a modern extension, spanning 198,000 square feet.

Envision has played a crucial role in refining the original design concepts, guiding them through to construction status.
